bad cell phone photos

spinning
my new phone takes much worse photos then my old phone did - which makes me even more glad to have a decent digital camera. But for now, this is what I've got:

My setup when flying (I even avoided spilling the tomato juice on the white lace). Not pictured is the cell phone masquerading as MP3 player with knitting podcast.

Half a sock. These were supposed to be for me, but this was the first time I measured it, and it's much too big. Oddly it's just the right size for Neil, lucky guy. This sock is now finished, but I'm thinking I may knit something else before I start the second, just for variety.

The conference it half finished, and I clearly won't be finishing extra socks. But again, that one pictured is bigger then I was expecting, which means it takes longer to knit. Also, see me surfing the web and posting instead of knitting in the evenings. wheee!

How nice to have good Internet access. You can always knit during the day, right?

Which sock pattern is that you ended up working?

It's the leyburn pattern, but I'm working on smaller needles then directed, so I added a few extra sts (which apparently wasn't necessary)

Ah, you picked my favorite! I need to bookmark that one somehow for a moment in time when I am ready for it.

Are you not on ravelry? One of the lovely features is being able to add patterns to either your queue or a favorites list. Everyone uses these two features differently. I use my queue for things I actually have the yarn or pattern for and my favorites list for stuff I like and might someday want to knit. Any way you use the tools ravelry is great for not forgetting about a nice pattern!

Yes, I forgot that that one had a link on Ravelry. Thanks for the reminder.

The photos look great to me! No better or worse than the old phone on this end of things. Really love the lace, just beautiful!

Oh that's good to know, maybe I've just been spoiled by the real camera.

The lace does look nice now, but wait until you see it blocked (well, finished and blocked)
